Fortnite leaks hint at Gwenpool skin ahead of Deadpool & Wolverine release

New Fortnite leaks concerning the game's upcoming collaboration with Deadpool & Wolverine have emerged. The new movie in the Deadpool franchise marks the debut of the Merc with the Mouth in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Leakers have found information in the in-game files that could be hinting at a possible skin for Gwenpool, a relatively niche character from Marvel Comics.

Fortnite leaks suggest Gwenpool could be coming to the game soon

According to the leaks, there is data in the in-game files that reveal a mask for a LEGO Fortnite skin. While this could just be another upcoming cosmetic, the mask's shape and design bear a striking resemblance to Gwenpool, a popular yet niche character in the Marvel Universe.

For those who don't know, Gwenpool, despite her name, is not exactly another version of Deadpool but is instead a girl who was transported from the real world into the Marvel Universe. The character, while being relatively new, has garnered a lot of love from fans, and it now seems like Epic Games might be gearing up to bring her to the Battle Royale Island.

The chances of Gwenpool coming to the game are only made even better by the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine film, which is set to feature the Merc with the Mouth taking a trip into the Marvel Multiverse.
