Fortnite leaks suggest Epic Games working on Iron Man locations codenamed "BarnTowel"
According to the latest Fortnite leaks, Epic Games is seemingly working on 'Iron Man locations' currently codenamed "BarnTowel." The information was brought to light by leakers/data miners Wensoing and loolo_wrld. The duo has also shared other insightful details about the current phase of the storyline. With Chapter 5 Season 4 just getting started, more is bound to follow.
Coming back to "BarnTowel," it will likely be largely related to Iron Man. Although the character has not been seen on the big screen since Avengers: Endgame (2019), he lives on in the hearts of fans. As such, it won't be surprising if Epic Games decides to add something related to him in-game.
Since the entire season is built around the MCU, it should fit into the theme seamlessly. That being said, here's what people can possibly expect to see in-game if this feature is implemented.
Note: This information is based on leaks and is subject to change. Readers are advised to take it with a grain of salt until there is official confirmation by the developers.
Fortnite leaks suggest Iron Man will play a role this season, albeit indirectly
While Iron Man may be out of the picture, Stark Industries is alive and well. Thus, Wensoing and loolo_wrld state that the new feature will revolve around drop pods. Similar to those found in Helldivers 2, these drop pods could contain loot.
Once these drop pods hit the ground, their doors will open, and you should be able to loot whatever is inside. According to Wensoing and loolo_wrld, the name of these drop pods "should" be Stark Armories. This makes sense, considering they will be filled with loot related to Tony Stark.
Given the information at hand, there could be roughly nine different possible drop locations for Stark Armories. However, it is unclear how many will drop throughout a match. We assume three Stark Armories could be dropped every match.
As for the contents of Stark Armories, Iron Man's Unibeam and Repulsors could possibly be found inside. This is again based on the fact that old Marvel Mythics are returning. This is subject to change, no doubt, but the loot should give players a leg up during a match.
In conclusion, while this information is based on Fortnite leaks, Epic Games has provided an official image of what could be Stark Armories. It looks exactly like a drop pod and could be large enough to hold Space Marines. They could potentially also contain the Iron Man Armor: Mark XLIV aka Hulkbuste. With Epic Games pulling out all the stop signs for this season, this is a possibility.
