Fortnite Reload new patch notes revealed

Fortnite Reload has received a new set of changes regarding its loot pool, with Epic Games introducing new weapons to the game mode while taking others out. The changes are likely to impact the gameplay for the Reload mode quite significantly, given the fact that the mode features a much faster-paced environment for players to engage in battle.

This article will break down all the new changes made to Fortnite Reload with the new update so you can be well-informed when heading into a match to secure the Reload Victory Royale.

Fortnite Reload patch notes bring a change of weapons in the loot pool

According to the changes revealed by Epic Games through the Fortnite Status X page, the mode has removed three weapons: Lever Action Shotgun, Tactical Submachine Gun, and Hand Cannon. Each of these is a classic item that contributes to the nostalgic feel of the Reload mode and their absence is sure to alter how some players approach certain encounters.

However, Epic Games has also added three similar weapons to replace these items. They are Thunder Pump Shotgun, Twin Mag SMG, and Mammoth Pistol. While these weapons are not quite as OG as the ones vaulted, being introduced in Chapter 4 and later, they should make for sound replacements that players can adjust their gameplay around.

The changes to the loot pool apply to both Fortnite Reload Battle Royale and Reload Zero Build. While the changes are exciting, they also spell good news for fans of the Reload mode as this can be seen as hints that Epic Games has plans to constantly update and modify the Reload mode.

It is still unclear as to what changes the developers have planned for the Reload mode and how much these changes could impact the game. However, one can only hope that the changes not only bring more weapon changes to the mode but also potential changes to the Fortnite Reload map options down the line.
