The very next shot depicts a volcanic mountain with molten lava spewing down, clearly establishing why this season is called 'Inferno' Island. The bright orange glow of the lava will dominate the theme of this season and provide an immersive experience.

The new season is also expected to introduce a series of fresh maps and courses for players to try their driving skills on.

The biggest part of this trailer is arguably the announcement of Lockjaw, the latest vehicle body/skin that will be introduced as part of the new season. Lockjaw is based on the current lockjaw vehicles that players can get by defeating the two NPC bosses Ringmaster Scarr and The Machinist. This fan-favorite vehicle will soon be available as a vehicle skin.

The trailer ends with a close-up of the new Lockjaw vehicle body based on the Mythic Nitro vehicle available in Fortnite Battle Royale. Rocket Racing Inferno Island is set to arrive in the game on July 23, 2024, as part of the much-awaited v30.30 update.
