Fortnite Smart Build could be implemented in Chapter 2 Remix
Fortnite Smart Build could be implemented sometime in Chapter 2 Remix. This information was brought to light by ShiinaBR, who was notified by Krowe_moh. However, this mode or concept is not new at all, as it was first noticed as early as 2021 and was brought to light by HYPEX during Chapter 2 Season 7.
The notion was that rather than building piece by piece, players could build small structures with the click of a button. This would be limited to certain objects such as a small bridge/ramp, boxes stacked atop each other, and of course, a box with a conical head (pyramid).
Back in the day, the news of this being implemented stirred up quite the commotion as Battle Royale (Builds) was the only core mode accessible to players. However, with Epic Games creating more modes as years go by, perhaps a new one could be created to make use of the Fortnite Smart Build concept, and it wouldn't be a bad idea.
Fortnite Smart Build could become a new mode
Given how Building works in-game, players wouldn't want this feature added in Battle Royale. Many were and still think that users would spam structures in combat, which would take away the skill needed to build on the go. Thus, with Fortnite Smart Build being referenced in the November 2 update for v32.00, one has to wonder what Epic Games has in store.
The most logical explanation is that they could be creating or actively working on a new mode that would use this feature. It would be a good idea because pre-fabricated structures would be perfect for beginners to place down. Although this wouldn't be as complex as Free Building, it would help beginners get a feel of things.
Since only Save The World (paid mode) teaches new players how to build, this would be a great move on Epic Games' part as they will be creating a learning mode of sorts for newcomers. With creation shifting entirely to UEFN (Unreal Editor for Fortnite), there's a lot that can be done. That said, more information will be needed about the Fortnite Smart Build concept before we can say anything conclusive about it.
Still, the only thing that can be said with certainty is that Fortnite Smart Build will not be integrated into the current Battle Royale mode. It would not be welcomed by the majority of experienced players, making a new dedicated mode the only feasible outcome.
