Logic hints at Fortnite Festival collaboration
The Fortnite Festival brought a ton of excitement to the game when it was launched in Chapter 5 Season 1, with Epic Games and Harmonix designing a classic rhythm-based experience akin to Guitar Hero and Rockband. The mode has not only introduced an element of music in the Battle Royale title but has also opened up avenues for various artists to collaborate with the game. Now, it seems like Logic could be one of them.
The platinum artist and rapper behind hits like 1-800-273-8255 and 44Bars recently took to his Instagram page to share an artwork that features characters from the Fortnite universe such as Agent Jones, Fishstick, and Peely. Their positioning makes the image look like the album cover for The Incredible True Story.
Interestingly, Fortnite's official Instagram page is tagged in the post's caption.
Logic could be featured as a Fortnite Festival artist soon
Logic's post is hardly confirmation that a collaboration between him and Fortnite is in the works. However, there is a chance that the artist and Epic Games might be getting things started on a potential crossover, given the ambiguous nature of the Instagram post.
Additionally, Logic has mentioned Fortnite in his music in the past. In the song Keanu Reeves, from his Confessions of a Dangerous Mind album, Logic raps:
"I don't play no games 'less we talkin' Fortnite."
With Logic shouting out the game on multiple occasions, it seems plausible that a collaboration could be coming to the game down the line. All of this is made better by the presence of Fortnite Festival, which could make for the perfect avenue for Logic's music and overall aesthetic to come to the game.
While certain future collaborations for Fortnite Festival have already been all but confirmed through leaks and the roadmap for 2024, it is a possibility that Logic could join the roster later down the line. Currently, the lineup for Fortnite Festival features Karol G and Snoop Dogg, both of whom are potentially set to have their own concerts and skins in the game.
If Logic were to come to the game, he would likely bring a ton of cosmetics themed around his various albums and eras to the Battle Royale Island and more importantly the Main Stage in Fortnite Festival. This could include Festival Jam Tracks and even a Festival Pass featuring Logic.
However, it is important to remember that this is all speculation at this point, and it is possible that the collaboration will not materialize anytime soon.
