For Gonna Need Milk, The Milk Cup Finals are more than just a tournament; they are a powerful statement about the future of women in gaming. Developed in collaboration with leading women gamers and in partnership with Fortnite streamer ThePeachCobbler, Women of the eRena (WOTE), and Raidiant’s all-women production team, this event is set to address the long-standing underrepresentation of women in professional gaming.
By creating a safe and inclusive space for women to compete, The Milk Cup is laying the groundwork for a more equitable future in esports. MilkPEP Senior Marketing Manager Jen Grubb said:
“Our commitment to women, it extends not just in front of the camera, but also behind the camera,”
She further added:
“We know that women's representation in gaming and esports even in the back-end game developers, production companies, all of that is important. We brought Peach on as an advisor, more so to understand what the gaming consumer would be interested in and the tournament participants. But then we also partnered with Women of the eRena, and Radiant as our production company. An all-female production company.”
The Milk Cup Finals will kick off at 1 pm PT at the Freeplay zone in the West Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center. It will follow a build trios tournament format, with players being scored based on a combination of placement points and team eliminations across six matches.

Fans can watch live on the gaming stage or through the exclusive livestream hosted by IGN on Twitch, featuring commentary from Kelly Link, LemonKiwi, and Taco. Grubb further added:
“Everything that we do and making sure we're running everything by all of these different women is to ensure that, again, authenticity comes through. We know it's important for this audience to have consistency and really put your money where your mouth is and support on a more ongoing basis.”
