"So that's how they are made": Community reacts to hilarious glitch that causes cars to duplicate in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 has been a host to memorable moments for many members of the community, with the post-apocalyptic saga of the title bringing a ton of content for players to explore during their pursuit of a Victory Royale. However, this does not mean that there isn't any room left for hilarious glitches and bugs, some of which just leave players flat-out confused.
Such is the case with a recent X clip shared by @ScyanYT, a prominent figure in the Fortnite storyline community, where the player can be seen in a solo Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 match donning the Doom Slayer Outfit and making their way to a Whiplash. However, when the Nitro-infused player slammed into the vehicle in front of him, they were surprised to find that another identical Whiplash spawned on top of the old one, seemingly out of nowhere.
The Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 clip, owing to its hilarious and uncanny nature, attracted a lot of attention from the community, with X user @TRP_RedPanda joking about the manufacturing process of the Whiplash and stating:
"So that's how they are made"
Other members of the community took to the comments to chime in with their own takes and jokes regarding the glitch witnessed by the Fortnite storyline veteran. X user @jiffyjimmy587 jokingly asked @ScyanYT to explain the car duplicating phenomena with the use of the game's lore. X user @GameIsAGam93071 further added to the joke, asking @ScyanYT to drop a nine-hour video on the lore regarding the glitch.
Meanwhile, X user @ToxotheAxo revealed how the glitch has been a thing ever since Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 began and wondered how Epic Games has not managed to fix it yet. X user @meezerqueen1987, on the other hand, provided a hilarious explanation for the phenomena, citing Nitro, the mysterious substance in Season 3, as the trigger behind the glitch.
What causes the Car Duplication glitch in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3?
While the X clip shared by @ScyanYT definitely injected a level of humor in the Fortnite community, it does raise the question of what exactly causes the Chapter 5 Season 3 glitch. Unfortunately, given how the glitch has been around ever since the season began and is mostly random in occurrence, it is quite difficult to pinpoint the exact reason behind it.
However, players are likely hoping for the developers to take note of the bug and fix it soon, something that could potentially come with the first major update after Epic Games' Summer Break ends.
