“The LEGO is moving more than the normal skin”: Fortnite community is not happy with No Tears Emote

Fortnite has a vast range of new cosmetics and emotes, with Epic Games constantly designing and releasing new items to provide players with a way to express themselves on the battlefield. Important among them are the Icon Series Emotes, and while they can be enticing, some fail to live up to expectations.

Such is the case with the newly released No Tears Emote, as highlighted in a recent Reddit post shared by u/thevaapinglizard. The player shared a clip of the No Tears Emote being performed by a character and their LEGO Minifigure. They then highlighted their dissatisfaction with not just the No Tears Emote but the recent strings of Icon Series Emotes as a whole.

u/ItzTwizzla brought up the price of such emotes, highlighting how they cost more than they deserve.

In response, u/mr_anonymous7767 pointed out that while Icon Series Emotes have always been priced around 500 V-Bucks, 200 V-Bucks would be a more reasonable price.

Meanwhile, u/Bugerkingoof said they have noticed a pattern with the Icon Series Emotes looking and feeling a lot less low energy than before.

u/AxlSt00pid, on the other hand, focused on the music in the background of the No Tears Emote. They said they don’t like when emotes feature sped-up versions of songs.

The No Tears Emote was recently introduced to the Fortnite Item Shop as a new Icon Series Emote inspired by a TikTok dance. It is currently available in the Item Shop for 500 V-Bucks, the standard prize for most Icon Series Emotes.

The No Tears Emote is not an exclusive emote and will likely be listed in the Item Shop again in the future.
