Where to find Shipwreck Shallows in Fortnite
The Fortnite x Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration has finally been released after a long wait, and it comes with a wave of new content that players can explore and engage with. While there are a ton of exciting changes to the game, one of the most prominent ones has to be the introduction of the new POI - Shipwreck
While players got their first look at Shipwreck Shallows through leaks, they can now visit the POI in-game to see what it truly has to offer.
This article breaks down how you can find the Shipwreck Shallows POI and whether it is worth exploring in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3.
Where is the Shipwreck Shallows on the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 map?
Since Shipwreck Shallows is one of the rare named collaboration POIs, it is hard to miss; it is based near the exact center of the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 map. The landmark can be found to the east of the Restored Reels POI and to the north of the Nitrodrome.
It should be relatively easy to find on the map as it not only has its name written on top of it but can also be associated with a massive pool of water that looks different to other bodies on the map.
The POI, being themed around Pirates of the Caribbean and named Shipwreck Shallows, has multiple wrecked naval vessels spread around the water in the POI. However, the primary attraction definitely comes in the form of the Black Pearl, Jack Sparrow’s ship from the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, being stationed in the middle of the water body. The ship, along with the the rest of the POI, has various pirate-themed elements such as Pirate Cannons.
However, that’s not all; players can also find new Pirate Chests at Shipwreck Shallows. These chests can not only grant players the returning Flint-Knock Pistol but also the brand-new Ship In A Bottle Mythic, an item that will definitely help players out when exploring the vehicle-infested Chapter 5 Season 3.
