FFWS 2024 Global Finals Knockout Day 1: Overall standings and highlights
Day 1 of the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) 2024 Global Finals Knockout was played on November 8, 2024. Groups A and B fought against each other in six matches. Twisted Minds from Thailand seized first place with 121 points and two Booyahs. The squad picked up 70 eliminations in this process. Buriram United (also from Thailand) ranked second with 101 points and two Booyahs.
HUA from Vietnam was third in the standings with 81 points after Day 1 of FFWS 2024. RRQ Kazu and Fluxo were fourth and fifth, with 68 and 65 points, respectively. Bigetron from Indonesia stood sixth with 63 points. Reta, Evos, and CLG got off to a slow start, securing only 45, 43, and 37 points, respectively. WASK had a poor day, having managed to score only 20 points.

Match 1 - Bermuda
HUA Esports conquered the opening match of the FFWS 2024 Global Finals with 31 points. Buriram United and Fluxo Esports also made a great start, scoring 17 points each. Twisted Minds grabbed 12 points.
Match 2 - Purgatory
Buriram United emerged victorious in the second encounter with 20 points. Its player Gethigh was the star performer of the game with six kills. Twisted Minds also did well and claimed 24 points.
Match 3 - Alpine
Buriram United had another brilliant game as the Thai club won a 19-point Booyah. Fluxo also displayed impressive performances and earned 18 points, with its athlete Bops clinching six kills alone.
Match 4 - Kalahari
Twisted Minds dominated the fourth game and registered a massive 27-point win. Diamond from the team secured seven kills. Evos Divine members also did their job nicely and secured 22 points, including 13 kills.
Match 5 - Nexterra
Twisted Minds came out victorious in the fifth match as well and grabbed 27 points. Buriram United collected 21 points. Bigetron from Indonesia achieved 15 points thanks to its player Kyongg’s six kills.
Match 6 - Purgatory
RRQ Kazu grabbed a 25-point Booyah in the last game of the FFWS Day 1. Twisted Minds continued its aggressive attack in this match and earned 23 points. HUA added 16 points to its tally.
