Free Fire World Series (FFWS) 2024 SEA Fall: Teams, dates, prize pool, and how to watch

The Free Fire World Series (FFWS) 2024 SEA Fall is scheduled to take place from August 16 to October 13 in Surabaya, Indonesia. A total of 18 teams from Southeast Asian countries (Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Malaysia) will compete against each other for a prize pool of $300,000.

The tournament will be held in three rounds; Knockout Stage, Point Rush, and Grand Finals. The Knockout Stage will be contested from August 16 to September 29. Here, 18 teams, divided into three groups, will play 108 matches in a round-robin format. Each team will take part in 72 matches. The top 12 teams will progress to Point Rush, where they will compete for headstart points.

These 12 teams will play six matches in the Grand Finals on October 13. The top eight performers will secure a spot in the Global Finals. Team Falcons has already qualified for the international event after winning the Esports World Cup.

General team overview

Many teams from the South-Asian region participated in the Free Fire World Cup 2024 Riyadh, where Team Falcons from Thailand emerged as the champions. Since debuting in the game's esports scene in April 2024, the organization has won two major titles, including the FFWS SEA Spring. The team will now try to defend their title in the upcoming World Series SEA.

Evos Divine from Indonesia was the second-best team in the World Cup. The organization had finished fourth in the previous edition of the FFWS SEA and has one of the rosters to watch out for in the upcoming tournament.

Buriram United from Thailand is one of the greatest Free Fire teams in the world. The squad finished fourth in the World Cup and third in the SEA Spring. Their star player, Moshi, was the MVP in the World Cup 2024.
