Both phones feature slightly different processors, with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 being the more performance-oriented. However, it also depends on the RAM variant that you are using. This is because 16GB RAM is only available on the Moto, so it does get a bit of an advantage in some cases.

However, the extra RAM on the Moto does not cancel out the performance offered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, as it is still the more powerful processor and is more efficient when it comes to daily tasks and gaming.

The cameras on the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 are quite different, but actually quite comparable. Motorola features three cameras, whereas the latter has only two. However, this is one such instance where more doesn't necessarily mean better, as Samsung has a killer sensor that easily outperforms Motorola. They feature the same specs for video though.

Moto's has a very intelligent camera stabilization though, allowing for very sharp photos even in the most action-packed scenes. The coloration on the images is something that's super impressive as well as it just seems so vibrant and rich.

Overall, however, Samsung's camera is far better. This goes in terms of the clarity and color tones of the image. The video on the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is also better than the quality on the latter. However, at 4K/60fps video, they are quite similar.

As the name suggests, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has curved edges, so it has a more aesthetically pleasing design and one that's easy to look at. However, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 has a dual screen. This secondary or "closed" display on the Samsung also lets you watch videos, view the map, and even play games in a smaller format, which is super cool.

All in all, Motorola has the better display here, featuring a Super HD screen compared to the FHD+ on the Samsung. This doesn't mean that Samsung's display is bad though, as it still has an incredible AMOLED 2x display.

Motorola Edge 50 Ultra vs Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6: Final Verdict

In this comparison of the Moto Edge 50 Ultra and the Galaxy Z Flip 6, we feel the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 would be the better choice. This goes in terms of performance, camera, and design. It offers a fresh perspective in terms of design and remains a powerful option in this comparison.

However, if you prefer a standard phone or are not a fan of flip phones, do go for the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra. It still offers a very compelling performance and shoots incredible photos. The final choice would come down to what you require from your mobile device.
