Foldable smartphones have made remarkable improvements in their displays recently. The Xiaomi Mix Flip is no different. It has a stunning 4-inch 120Hz OLED cover screen which can be used to access any app. The display also has support for several Xiaomi-exclusive widgets.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6, on the other hand, like last year's Z Flip5, has a slower 3.6-inch display with a 60Hz refresh rate. It has its limitations; it can only run basic Google apps and Samsung-exclusive widgets.

In terms of main displays, both phones have nearly identical large AMOLED screens with similar aspect ratios and more than 400 pixels per inch (ppi). They also have peak 120Hz refresh rate with LTPO support, i.e. they can dynamically adjust to various refresh rates.

Xiaomi Mix Flip vs Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6: Verdict

The Xiaomi Mix Flip features impressive hardware, especially considering it's the first clamshell phone from the brand in its 14 years of existence. It has a bigger and more functional cover display, a larger battery, and costs almost $400 less than the Z Flip6.

However, if you want a flip phone with easy availability and don't mind using a 60Hz cover screen, the Galaxy Z Flip6 is the better choice. It offers more software features as well, including exclusive Galaxy AI features, that provide a seamless user experience.
