About BAN vs ZIM 2024
Bangladesh will host the Zimbabwe cricket team for a three-format bilateral series in February and March 2020. The two teams will be playing a Test, 3 ODIs and 2 T20Is spread over 19 days.

History
The two teams have played 16 Tests against each other. Zimbabwe have an edge over the hosts in Test cricket as they have won 7 games, lost 6 and 3 games ended in a draw. The No. 9 ranked side will be looking forward to equalise the record by winning the only Test in the Bangladesh vs ZImbabwe 2020 series.
However, Bangladesh have a fairly upper hand on Zimbabwe when it comes to ODIs. They have won 44 and lost just 28 ODIs out of the 72 they have played against each other. In fact, they are enjoying a 13-game winning streak against the visitors. Zimbabwe last won an ODI against Bangladesh in May 2013.
In T20Is too, Bangladesh have won more than Zimbabwe. In 11 BAN vs ZIM games so far, the hosts have won 7 and lost 4.
Test series
The Zimbabwe cricket team will be playing a two-day practice game to start the tour. They will be looking forward to playing against Bangladesh after performing well against Sri Lanka at home. The Test match at Dhaka will not be a part of the ongoing World Test Championship.
ODI series
The visitors will really have to pull up their socks as it will not be easy to beat the No. 7 ranked ODI side while being placed 5 positions below on the ICC ODI Team Rankings. The three ODIs will be played at the same venue which might be a boon for Zimbabwe to get used to the pitch and play accordingly.
T20I series
The Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe T20I series will have two T20Is that the Bangladesh cricket team will look at as practice games before the important T20 World Cup 2020 which is just a few months away. Both the matches will be played at Dhaka.
