About English Test County Championship 2022
The English Test County Championship 2022 is the 122nd Cricket County season which is being played in England and Wales.
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) announced in October 2021 that the event would be split into two divisions, with ten clubs in Division One and eight in Division Two. After the 2020 season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 epidemic, the teams were placed in the division they had qualified for based on the results of the 2019 County Championship.
The ECB confirmed all of the tournament's fixtures in January 2022, with the Bob Willis Trophy being dropped. The season is set to begin on April 7 and end on September 29 in 2022.
