About India A v England Lions 2024
The England Lions played a series against Pakistan A in the United Arab Emirates in November and December last year. That particular series had comprised a single four-day match, five one-day matches and two Twenty20 matches.
Pakistan recorded victories over the Lions in both the test match and the one day leg, however the latter managed to win both the T20 matches to conclude the tour. The Lions will now tour India and play against the A team across January and February. The tour begins on 23rd January and will draw to a close with the final test match beginning on 13th February.
The last time the two sides met was at the India A Tour of England in a single four day match in July 2018. The match was played at New Road, Worcester as the Lions recorded a marginable victory of 253 runs over the visitors.
Matches
The series will comprise of five one-day matches and two unofficial Test matches. The five one day matches will be played first in the month of January followed by the two four-day matches which will be played in February. The first leg matches will begin from 09:00 AM (04:30 GMT) while the second leg will be played from 09:30 AM (05:00 GMT), according to the Indian Standard Time.
Venues
Both the legs will be played on different venues, but all the matches in a single leg will be played on the same location. The venues for the tour are provided below:

Krishnagiri Stadium, Wayanad (Highest altitude stadium used exclusively for cricket at 2,100 feet above sea level)
