India vs Australia 2023 squads
India have thus far announced their squad for the first two Tests against Australia. While star pacer Jasprit Bumrah is still recovering from his injuries, Ravindra Jadeja is making a comeback after being out of action since Aug 2022, but his chances of playing are subject to his fitness . The hosts have included the wicket-keeper Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav for the red ball format. Their inclusion will be an exciting one to watch out for as they have been extremely successful for India in the shorter format.
While for Australia, Mitchell Starc is set to miss the first Test due to a finger injury, but is likely to play in the remaining three Tests. Leg-spinner Todd Murphy earned a maiden national call-up and he will be an interesting prospect to look forward to alongside speedster Lance Morris.
