IPL Auction 2025 will be the fifth mega auction after the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the beginning of a new three-year cycle from 2025-2027. The IPL Auction 2025 is set to take place on November 24 and 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The auction is set to see a host of big superstars such as Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, and even England veteran James Anderson go under the hammer as teams look to build their rosters for the upcoming 18th edition of the season.
The salary cap for the 10 franchises is set at INR 120 crore, which is INR 20 crore more than the previous mega auction which was held in 2022. Franchises retained a total of 46 players ahead of the auction with big names such as Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, MS Dhoni, and Jasprit Bumrah retained among others.
