About CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge Division One 2023

The CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge Division One 2022 is a domestic one-day cricket tournament held in South Africa from March 11th to April 10th, 2022.

The competition will feature 28 matches, excluding the semi-finals and final. All of the matches will be played in a 50-over format (one day), with the majority of the matches taking place during the day and night, and all of them taking place behind closed doors in South Africa.

Tournament Format

The CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge Division One 2022 will be played in a double round-robin format with playoffs after the first round.

By the end of the group stage, the top four teams in the CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge Division One points table will qualify for the playoffs. In the first semi-final of the playoffs, the team that finished first in the points table will meet the team that finished fourth. The teams that finished second and third will meet in the second semi-final. After that, the winners of both semi-final matches will compete in the final.
