About Monterrey Open 2024
Monterrey Open, also popularly known as Abierto GNP Seguros, is a WTA 500 tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It will commence on August 19, 2024, and conclude on August 24, 2024. The event was recently updated from WTA 250 to WTA 500.

The tournament was initially played at the Sierra Madre Tennis Club from 2009 to 2013. With the increase in the size of the audience, the tournament was shifted to Sonoma Cub in 2014.
