About Pakistan vs Zimbabwe 2020

The Zimbabwe cricket team will play three ODIs and three T20Is against Pakistan in October and November 2020. Pakistan vs Zimbabwe 2020 series will start on 3 October 2020 in Rawalpindi. The tour will conclude with the final T20I on 10 November 2020 in Lahore.


Pakistan vs Zimbabwe ODI series will form part of the 2020-22 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League. This will be the third series under this League. The previous two were Ireland vs England and Australia vs England.


The venues for the tour were finalised in the second week of October. All the matches of PAK vs ZIM ODI series will be played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi. Similarly, all the T20I matches will be played at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.


The series was confirmed in the later part of September 2020. The 25 members preliminary Zimbabwe squad travelled to Pakistan on 19 October 2020. Their head coach Lalchand Rajput didn’t travel with the team, so Douglas Hondo, their bowling coach was put in charge. Chamu Chibhabha will captain the team from Africa. The Pakistani squad is yet to be declared but Babr Azam is expected to captain the team for the first time in One Day International cricket.
