Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship 2024 History
The Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship was first held in early June 2016 at the Puntacana Resort & Club, located on the east coast of La Altagracia province, but was eventually moved to early May 2017.
Beginning in March 2018, the event moved from being a Web.com Tour stop for two years to a PGA Tour alternative event held in Texas next to the WGC Match Play. Similar to other alternate events, the first PGA Tour tournament organized in the Dominican Republic offers benefits such as a two-year tour exemption, 24 OWGR points, and 300 FedEx Cup points for the champion, but no invitation to the Masters Tournament.
The 2020 tournament was rescheduled for September as part of the 2020–21 PGA Tour season because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Furthermore, the winner received full FedEx Cup point status and an invitation to the Masters Tournament in 2021.

Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship 2024 Course
The 2024 Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship will be held at the Corales Golf Course. Opening in 2010, Corales is a unique, dramatic 18-hole course with six holes that overlook the Caribbean Ocean, according to the event's official website, which was designed by Tom Fazio.
It is one of the best courses out there, with the natural advantage of natural cliffs, bays, ocean cover, and coral quarries. However, the best and most thrilling part is the last three holes, famously known as the Devil's Elbow, especially the 18th hole, which is forced to carry over the cliff-line Bay of Corales.
