20 PGA Tour players to watch in the upcoming designated events

The PGA Tour recently announced that 2024 will see the introduction of a no-cut event, which means all the top players will be competing on all four days. However, the flip side of this change is that we will see a limited field of 70-80 players in these designated events.

This is why being inside the top 50 of the FedEx Standings has become more important than ever. Better FedEx Standing will not just mean a place in the BMW Championship but also a place in these events.

While it has not even been halfway through the 2023 season to think about the top 50, there have still been 20 events played so far in the 2022-23 season.

The standings from 40 to 60 are such that although they are in a safe zone at the moment, they are still not far from being left out. These players will be hoping to seal their place in the top 50 in the upcoming designated events.

Here's a look at the top 20 players who will be in focus for the upcoming designated events.
