5 best shots of Jon Rahm’s masterful golf career so far

Jon Rahm has been in some form recently. He has already won three events this year and five of his last nine starts. It's tough to even argue that he is not the best golfer on the Tour at the moment.

With 10 victories on the PGA Tour and 9 on European Tour including a US Open 2021, the Spaniard has played many impressive shots in his career. It's hard to choose the best of them.

Jon Rahm's first 60 days of 2023.

• Top 7 in all five starts
• 3 wins
• 93 under in 20 rds
• 67.1 scoring avg
• Beat or tied 601 players (98.8%)
• Lost to 8 players
• $9M earned

We toss it around too often, but a true Tiger-like run for Rahm.

However, here are five of Rahm's best shots, in no particular order:

1) Jon Rahm's lucky shot on the 17th hole on Genesis Invitational Day 2

It was an incredible hit by Rahm, not by the distance or by the way the ball was hit, but by how things happened at the 17th hole of the Riviera 2023 Genesis Invitational Day 2. Rahm used a fairway wood to hit the ball from 270 yards away on the 604-yard par-5 to reach the green.

Unfortunately, the shot went off-course to the right. Luckily for him, the ball hit the temporary structure (grandstand), bounced a few times on the rough, rolled onto the putting surface, and eventually stopped just three and a half feet away from the hole.

2) Jon Rahm's hole in one at WGC-Mexico 2020

During the 2020 World Golf Championships-Mexico, Rahm hit a "hole in one" shot on the par 3 17th hole in the third round. Rahm holed a 158-yard tee shot for an eagle.

3) Jon Rahm's amazing pond shot during 2020 Masters practice round

The shot wasn't hit in the official event, but this was nothing short of extraordinary. What Rahm did was beyond physics and beyond belief.

The ball "swam" across the pond, then moved to the right and eventually stopped near the hole, leaving everyone awestruck.

4) Jon Rahm plays an amazing tee shot

Rahm's shot was so on target that it stopped just a few feet away from the hole.

5) Rahm's clutch birdie at US Open

Rahm's shot went into the bunker. He needed a birdie to keep the lead, what he did after that was just amazing, he kept his calm and hit the ball out of the sand and the next shot was birdie. This lead helped him win his first Major
