1- Nicolai Hojgaard
The young Dane finished the Omega European Masters in a tie for 152nd place. His score was 9-over after rounds of +5 and +4, with only two birdies and 11 bogeys in the 36 holes he played.
Nicolai Hojgaard did not have a good season on the PGA Tour, despite missing only six cuts in 18 events. His only top-10 finish came in the first event of the season. He finished 82nd in the FedEx Cup standings and will have to fight to stay on the circuit during the FedEx Cup Fall.
Hojgaard was one of the revelations of last season, winning the DP World Tour Championship and earning a spot in the European Ryder Cup team, among other great results.
2- Erik van Rooyen
The South African finished in a tie for 135th place at the Omega European Masters with a score of 4-over. His performance included rounds of 71 and 73 with one eagle, four birdies, eight bogeys, and one double bogey.
Erik van Rooyen said goodbye to 2023 by winning the World Wide Technology Championship. His 2024 season included four top-10s in 21 events (15 cuts). His best result of the year was a tie for second at the Cognizant Classic.

The LIV Golf reserve player recently won his first event on the DP World Tour, the European Open. However, he did not fare as well at the European Masters, shooting even par and missing the cut by one stroke.
Laurie Canter has played in 13 events on the DP World Tour, making 10 cuts. He adds three more top-10s to his win.
5- Matteo Manassero
The Italian also won on the DP World Tour in 2024 (Jonsson Workwear Open). He has five other top-10s in 22 tournaments (14 cuts made). At the European Masters, he finished 1-over and missed the cut by two shots.
