5 golfers to watch out for at the 2024 Creator Classic
The debut edition of the Creator Classic will take place on the eve of the Tour Championship. It will be a nine-hole stroke play event at the back-nine in East Lake. While all the participants will get to play the first eight holes, only the top four will advance to the final hole play-off. The content creators will have to play in similar conditions as the professional golfers.
5) Paige Spiranac
While professional golfer-turned-content creator Paige Spiranac has been named last in the odds this week, anything can happen on Wednesday.
Besides, she is one of the few creators in the tournament who have professional experience in the sport. The 31-year-old is also one of the most popular names in the 16-player field with four million Instagram followers.
After announcing an early retirement in 2016, Spiranac will be returning to the sport after eight years.
4) Brad Dalke
Brad Dalke is another member of 'Good Good.' He was a top-ranked junior player and had won the national title at the University of Oklahoma. After finishing runner-up at the US Amateur, he also participated in the Masters and the US Open. He has 113k followers on Instagram.
3) Luke Kwon
Luke Kwon has made 50 starts in PGA Tour-sanctioned events. He even won an event in China in 2019. Kwon has also played at the collegiate level for the University of Oklahoma. The Texas native had collaborated with several of his competitors over the past year. He has 224k followers on Instagram.
2) George Bryan IV
Older of the Bryan brothers, George made his PGA Tour debut in Bermuda last year. He was also a part of the Myrtle Beach Classic this year. He signed up for the PGA Tour Q-school in August 2023. The South Carolina native has 285k followers on Instagram.
1) Wesley Bryan
Undoubtedly, the younger Bryan brother is the most experienced golfer in the Creator Classic field. Wesley Bryan is the only competitor at the Creator Classic with a PGA Tour title to his name. He has a top-10 finish on the Tour this season and placed T2 at the Corales Puntacana Championship. He has 285k followers on Instagram.
