5 sleeper picks for the 2024 Procore Championship ft. Mark Hubbard
This week the Procore Championship, also known as the Fortinet Championship, is taking place at the Silverado Resort and Spa (North Course). With the tournament starting tomorrow, fans and pundits have selected their favorite picks to win the event, however, some underdogs may give a tough competition to leave their mark.
Players like Wyndham Clark, Max Homa, and Sam Ryder are top contenders to win the Procore Championship. But here's a list of five top sleeper picks who may surprise the golf world at the $6 million event this week.
5 sleeper picks for the 2024 Procore Championship
#Mark Hubbard
Mark Hubbard’s odds to win at the Procore Championship are +6000. Considering his last performances, the golfer is expected to perform well. Hubbard had top-25 finishes in his last two appearances at the Fortinet Championship. In 2021, he finished in the T16 position at the Silverado Resort and Spa after carding 70, 68, 71, and 68 in the four rounds. The following year, he again had a top-25 finish at the Fortinet Championship with T21 with a total score of 8-under 280.
This year, he had three top-20 finishes, including AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, where he finished at T4, the Farmers Insurance Open, and the Barracuda Championship.

Fishburn’s odds to win at the Procore Championship are +1100. Although the beginning of Fishburn's year saw seven missed cutlines in his first eight starts, the golfer bounced back in the second half of the season. He had six top-25 finishes throughout the year, out of which, two were top-10 finishes at the Barracuda Championship and 3M Open, where he finished at solo 3rd and T6, respectively.
Other top-25 finishes were at the Corales Puntacana Championship, the Myrtle Beach Classic, the Rocket Mortgage Classic, and the ISCO Championship, where he finished at T23, T20, T25 and T14.

Taylor’s odds to win are +550. The golfer had three top-20 finishes throughout the year and also won the 2024 Phoenix Open. Other two top-20 finishes were at the Sony Open and the Arnold Palmer Invitational, where Taylor landed at T7 and T12 with 14-under 266 and 3-under 285, respectively.

His odds to win the Procore Championship are +190. He won the event in 2020 with 21-under, defeating Harry Higgs. Following that, in 2021, he skipped the event for his son, Connor’s wedding. Then came back to the Silverado course in 2022 and 2023, where he missed cutlines at the event.

Luke Clanton's last appearance was at the Wyndham Championship, where he finished in fifth place. Also, the golfer had a runner-up finish at the John Deere Classic. Clanton had three top-ten finishes in his six PGA Tour events. The American golfer has 16-1 odds (as per CBS Sports) to win the event.
