His 24-under-264 total at the PGTI Players Championship presented by Aamby Valley till date stands as the PGTI record for four rounds.

His momentous 12-under-60 at the BILT Open 2011 at Jaypee Greens equaled the record for the lowest-to-par score in a single round on Indian soil set by China’s Liang Wen-Chong during the Indian Open 2008.

International Career

He has won 7 international titles so far and is fourth on the list of Indians with most international wins after Jeev Milkha Singh (13), Arjun Atwal (10) & Jyoti Randhawa (9).

He won his first international title in 2011 and has won in every season since then.

His biggest prize money cheque so far has been US$ 500,000 for winning the Maybank Malaysian Open 2015.

He finished third in the Asian Tour Order of Merit in 2013, second in 2014 and is the current leader in 2015 by a huge margin.

He was part of the inaugural EurAsia Cup in 2014 where he helped Team Asia secure a dramatic 10-10 tie with Team Europe after suffering a 0-5 defeat on the first day.

He received the Arjuna Award in 2014.

Majors

Anirban Lahiri with seven Major appearances is only second to Jeev Milkha Singh (13) on the list of Indians with most Major appearances.

Lahiri’s tied fifth finish at the PGA Championship 2015 at Whistling Straits, Wisconsin, is now the best finish by an Indian at a Major. The record was earlier held by Jeev Milkha Singh courtesy his tied ninth finish at the PGA Championship 2008.

Anirban Lahiri along with Jeev Milkha Singh and Arjun Atwal, are the only three Indians to have played all four Majors.

Anirban has now made the cut at three out of four Majors with the US Open being the only exception. Among Indians, only Jeev surpasses this feat having made the cut at all four Majors.

Anirban (2015) and Jeev (2007) are the only two Indians to have played all four Majors in the same calendar year. Anirban, however, is the first Indian to make the cut in three Majors in the same calendar year. Jeev only made the cut in two in 2007.

Anirban Lahiri and Jyoti Randhawa have both made three appearances at the British Open, the most among Indians.

Anirban Lahiri and Jeev Milkha Singh are the only two Indians to make the cut at their debut Major appearance. Jeev achieved the feat at the 2002 US Open while Anirban followed suit at the 2012 British Open.

Two Indians have made the cut at the same Major only once. Jeev Milkha Singh and Anirban Lahiri achieved this at the 2012 British Open.

Anirban Lahiri's tied 31st finish at the 2012 British Open was the best result by an Indian in his debut Major appearance.

Anirban Lahiri became the first Indian to make a hole-in-one at a Major during round three of the 2012 British Open.
