Daly had his first child, Shynah Hale Daly, with Bettye Fulford, his second wife. Fulford and Daly's marriage ended in divorce in July 1993. Fulford gained custody of Shynah but Daly always stayed in touch with Shynah. He spent time with Shynah in Orlando during the summer holidays and vacations.
"It's not enough, "I talk to Shynah four or five times a week, sometimes three times in one day." he said.
As she grew older, Shynah took over her father's business and, drawn to photography, launched "Changing Daly Photography," a photoshop company. In Daly's words, "Shyanh is a hell of a photographer."
A few years after Shynah was born, John Daly wed Paulette Dean and had Sierra Lynn Dale. Daly and Dean broke up when Sierra was a young child. Sierra has not been spotted on social media platforms and prefers to lead a private life.
John Patrick Daly II, commonly referred to as "Little John," is Daly's third child. The young man is one of the top-ranked golfers. He has participated in many events, including the 2020 Dye National Junior Invitational held at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Indiana, where his father won his first PGA titlein 1991.
John Daly and John II, the perfect father-son duo
John II is developing into one of the best golfers, much like his father did. In 2020, he tied for second place at the Dye Junior Invitational. He attended the University of Arkansas to play collegiate golf, the same school where the senior Daly competed from 1984 to 1987.
Beginning with the 2016 PNC Championship, which took place at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club, Grande Lakes in Orlando, the father and son began playing golf together. In the 36-hole competition, Daly and his 18-year-old son defeated Tiger Woods and Charlie Woods by two strokes to win the championship. Here's what the senior Daly said to Golf.com: (via people.com)
