“I love this” – When Serena Williams’ husband lauded Charlie Woods for his ‘viral’ moment at PNC Championship

Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian loved Charlie Woods' viral moment at the 2022 PNC Championship.

During the Championship, Justin Thomas took the reporter's job and questioned Charlie about the story behind his "snoopy hat."

Tiger could be seen saying "no" again and again, for reasons best known to himself. Charlie revealed that he chose this because it best suited him.

Charlie answered:

"Well it's the hat that was in my closet and fits the best. That's all I can say about it."

Woods then approved the answer with a grin.

Ohanian recently shared this fun video on his Instagram story, captioning it, "I love this".

"Charlie, I get it! I have a hat I love. It’s 20+ years old, maybe more. I fits perfectly. I have to wear it. Stay strong Charlie. Wear what gives you power. Just like your Father red & black Sunday outfits."

Charlie Axel Woods was born on February 8, 2008, to Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren.

Charlie began playing golf and slowly developed into a competitive player. He eventually entered a U.S. kids' golf competition at Hammock Creek Golf Club, located in Palm City, Florida.

Woods Jr. posted a score of 3-under 33 over nine holes in the 11-year-old division of the Palm City tournament. He concluded with three birdies and no bogeys.

Charlie had previously won a junior golf tournament in Palm City, Florida. However, it was his participation in the 2020 PNC Championship alongside his father, Tiger, that brought him widespread attention.

The following year, the father-son duo returned to the Ritz Carlton Golf Club, where Charlie's performance stole the show.

Despite finishing runner-up with a score of 25-under, just two strokes behind John Daly and John Daly II, Charlie's impressive performance garnered significant media attention.

Team Woods managed to set a new record for the most consecutive birdies by making 11 in a row during the final round.
