Molinari among four tied for lead at Wells Fargo Championship
Storms slowed the Wells Fargo Championship on Friday as four players were left tied atop the leaderboard when darkness stopped play in the second round.
Irishman Seamus Power (71) and American Billy Hurley III (69) finished their second rounds at five under to hold the lead.
They are joined by John Peterson and Francesco Molinari, who are through 12 and 11 holes respectively.
Strong winds made scoring difficult, but a few players were able to move up the leaderboard.
Spaniards Jon Rahm and Rafa Cabrera Bello lead a group at four under.
Both players are in the clubhouse through two rounds, and will likely have to wait a while to begin their third rounds.
Also tied for fifth are Vaughn Taylor (69), Brian Harman (69), Grayson Murray (73), Smylie Kaufman and Ben Martin, the latter two yet to complete their rounds.
Adam Scott and Dustin Johnson are currently at even par, which is just inside the cut line. They are both on the back nine of their second rounds.
World number one Johnson, continuing his return from injury, is two over through 13 holes.
Phil Mickelson finished his second round at one under.
