In 2024, Horschel had a promising start on the PGA Tour with a T18 finish at the Sony Open, where he impressed with rounds of 68, 68, 68, and 65. However, after a good start, Horschel missed the cut in two consecutive events, including The American Express and the Farmers Insurance Open.
He won his first tournament of the year at the Corales Puntacana Championship in April and then won another on the DP World Tour at the BMW PGA Championship in September. He was the runner-up at the Genesis Scottish Open and recorded solid finishes on the PGA Tour, T10 at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, T7 at the Wyndham Championship, and T8 at the PGA Championship.
