2023 Valero Texas Open: Schedule, prize purse, and more
The PGA Tour now moves to the TPC San Antonio Oaks Course, a par-72 course in Texas, for the next event on the schedule, the Valero Texas Open, which tees off on Thursday.
The Valero Texas Open is the last chance for some players to make it to the final cut-off of the 2023 Masters, which starts on April 6.
Schedule and Telecast
The tournament will take place from March 30 to April 2 with the Golf Channel broadcasting the tournament on all four days. The event will be broadcast on the Golf Channel for all four days but on weekends, the latter part of the broadcast will be switching to NBC. Fans can also simulcast on Peacock.

Purse Size
The purse size for the Valero Texas Open is $8.9 million compared to $8.6 million in 2022. The winner will receive a share of $1.602 million and the runner-up will earn $970,100.
The field for the 2023 Valero Texas Open
The 2023 Valero Texas Open doesn't have a star-studded field given that the previous weeks were scheduled with designated events and next week has The Masters Tournament.
Rickie Fowler is the most prominent name at TPC San Antonio as the event is the last chance for several players, including Fowler, to get entry into The Masters.
