Hideki Matsuyama's victory at the FedEx St. Jude Championship marked his second win of the 2024 season, following his Genesis Invitational triumph in February. This victory also solidified his 10th career PGA Tour title, a collection that includes the prestigious 2021 Masters.
The32-year-old had to dig deep in the final round to win the FedEx St. Jude Championship. After 15 holes of the final round, he had lost the five-shot lead he started the day with. However, he rallied with birdies on the last two holes to finish two shots ahead of Xander Schauffele and Viktor Hovland.
