2024 Hero World Challenge Friday round 2 tee times and pairings
Day 1 of the 2024 Hero World Challenge ended with Cameron Young in the lead. The 27-year-old golfer, playing for the first time since the BMW Championship, took the early lead at the Albany Golf Course. He chipped and holed four birdie putts from 15 feet or longer to finish with a 64.
Day 2 of the Hero World Challenge will begin at 10:55 am ET on Friday. The pairing of Tom Kim and Jason Day will take the opening tee on the 1st tee. Wyndham Clark and Matthieu Pavon will follow suit at 11:06 am. Meanwhile, the grouping of Brian Harman and Aaron Rai will begin proceedings at 11:17 am.
Day 1 leader Young will have a late tee off at 12:34 pm, the last tee up of the day, alongside second-placed Justin Thomas. T3 Akshay Bhatia and Ludvig Aberg will tee off before them.
Notably, event favorite and reigning champion Scottie Scheffler shot a 5-under 67 on Thursday after bringing a new putting grip to the competition. He shared T3 at the end of the Day and will tee it up at 12:12 pm alongside Patrick Cantlay.

It is pertinent to note that the 2024 Hero World Challenge, hosted by Tiger Woods, has a limited 20-man field. The event will not have the traditional 36-hole cut on Friday. All golfers on the tournament’s field will play Saturday’s round 3 and finish the competition. Tee times for the third round will be updated after Friday’s play.
