International Team captain Mike Weir reflects on Day 1 of the Presidents Cup

Mike Weir spoke about the first day of the Presidents Cup, after a tough start for the International team. wHe said that even though the scores of the team may be down, their spirits are not. Responding to a question about the hardest part of recovering from a day such as yesterday, Weir said (via ASAP Sports),

"The hardest part? Well, it's certainly not the team unity and the team spirit. Our guys are still very positive. Look, reality is it wasn't a great day, but it's like the first period of a hockey game, the way I look at it. You're down, but there's a long way to go. Still significant sessions left. That's the way we're looking at it."

The International Team is looking for their first victory since 1998, and only their second victory in Presidents Cup history.
