2024 Scottish Open: Round 1 tee times and pairings explored

The 2024 Genesis Scottish Open, headlined by Rory McIlroy, will be held from July 11 to 14. Returning to the Renaissance Club in North Berwick, the tournament is all set to be held just a week before the fourth and final major of the year, the Open Championship.

Alongside Rory McIlroy, the likes of Xander Schauffele and Viktor Hovland will round off the talented field. The tournament will boast a prize purse of $9 million, with the winner walking away with $1.58 million.

After his narrow loss at the 2024 US Open, Rory McIlroy is back in action and hoping to defend his title at the Genesis Scottish Open. He enters into the Genesis Scottish Open with odds of +700, followed by Xander Schauffele, who holds odds of +800 (via CBS Sports).

McIlroy will be teeing it off alongside Robert MacIntyre and Viktor Hovland at 3:28 am ET. Another group to watch out for is Xander Schauffele, Wyndham Clark, and Tommy Fleetwood, who will tee it up at 3:39 am ET at the Genesis Scottish Open.

Scottie Scheffler will not be present at this week's Genesis Scottish Open. After winning the Travelers Championship in late June, the World No. 1 golfer has gone on a short break and will directly tee it up at the Open Championship.
