2024 WWT Championship Saturday tee times and pairings explored

Day 2 of the 2024 WWT Championship ended with Nico Echavarria and Max Greyserman sharing the lead. On Friday, the Colombian golfer carded a 9-under 63 in calmer wind conditions to climb up the leaderboard. The 30-year-old, who won his maiden PGA Tour title at the ZOZO Championship in Japan two weeks ago, matched Greyserman at 12-under 132 at El Cardonal at Diamante.

Day 3 of the WWT Championship will begin at 9:50 am ET on Saturday. The pairing of Brandon Wu, Michael Kim and Tyson Alexander will take the first tee. Sam Ryder, Luke List and Adam Svensson will follow suit at 10:01 am. Meanwhile, the grouping of Chandler Phillips, Martin Laird and David Lipsky will follow them at 10:12 am.

Day 2 leader Echavarria, who played a five-hole stretch on the front nine in 6-under with an eagle and four birdies, will enjoy a late tee-off at 11:51 am. T1 Greyserman, who eagled the par-5 18th for a 64, joins him alongside Carson Young.

It is pertinent to note that the American had finished tied for second behind the Colombian in the circuit’s last Japan outing.

It is pertinent to note that the 2024 WWT Championship underwent the traditional 36-hole cut on Friday. Some notable names, including Taylor Moore and Neal Shipley, exited the event early. The remaining golfers will compete for the $7,200,000 prize purse on offer.
