2025 Ryder Cup tickets sold out, prices jumped to a whopping $1,230 on the secondary market
The 2025 Ryder Cup organizers announced Wednesday, November 13, that tickets for Match Days at Bethpage Black are sold out. Officials say 500,000 tickets were sold through a lottery system.
However, the secondary marketing platform SeatGeek has several listings for ticket sales, the cheapest of which is $1,230. This is $480 more than the $750 price announced by the PGA of America.
SeatGeek's first offer is valued at $1,230 and allows access to Bethpage Black on Friday. For the same day, there are two other offers that, in addition to access to the main event, include access to the evening events at Five Iron Golf's Grand Central and Herald Square locations. The latter two packages are valued at $1,423.
For Saturday, the second day of the official competition, each ticket is $1,423 on SeatGeek. Deals valued at $1,745 also include access to the evening events. As for Sunday, SeatGeek has single tickets on sale for $1,145. Post-tournament offers, including access to post-tournament events, are $1,745.
SeatGeek has no more tickets available for the first few days of the event (Tuesday through Thursday). In addition, it has a limit of four tickets per day per buyer and has also created a lottery system for sales.
The platform also offers a Ticket Package that includes an individual ticket from Tuesday through Sunday and access to the elevated hospitality venue with upgraded food and beverages. This offer costs $3,868.
What does the PGA of America say about Ryder Cup ticket prices on the secondary market?
Ticket sales on SeatGeek are not unknown to the PGA of America. The Ryder Cup's governing body on the U.S. side has stated that SeatGeek is their "partner" and encourages fans to explore their options. However, it assured fans that no tickets would be sold on the secondary market as a first option, except for some travel package options:
"Once ticket inventory for match days sold out, fans accessing the PGA's Ryder Cup ticket sales portal were, in addition to the option to purchase remaining available ticket inventory for practice days, provided the opportunity to visit our partner SeatGeek to explore the secondary market.
Other than through travel packages available via on location, the PGA of America's official travel package provider for the 2025 Ryder Cup, the PGA of America did not make any Ryder Cup ticket inventory available for initial purchase via any secondary markets."
The event's official website still has some premium offers available. These include week-long tickets to the International Pavilion, also marketed through SeatGeek for $3,400.
