$250M-worth NFL legend makes his brother join the Augusta National Golf Club
Eli Manning is among the newest members of the Augusta National Golf Club, according to information released on Wednesday, November 6. Eli is the brother of $250 million worth (via Celebrity Net Worth) Peyton Manning, who has also been a member of the exclusive club for several years.
According to a Sports Business Journal report, Eli has joined the Augusta National Golf Club accompanied by former CBS Sports chairman Sean McManus. The group of new members also includes Amazon CEO Andy Jassy and Delta Airlines CEO Ed Bastian.
Like his brother Peyton, Eli had a distinguished career in the National Football League (NFL), also as a quarterback. He played 16 seasons for the New York Giants.
Eli achieved remarkable results during his professional career, including two Super Bowl titles. He was named Most Valuable Player in both finals and played four times in the Pro Bowl games. His number (10) was retired by the New York Giants after his retirement in 2019.
Manning is also a big fan of golf, just like his brother Peyton. Eli uses golf not only as a sport, but also as a vehicle for his philanthropic work. Since 2008, he has hosted a golf tournament to raise funds to support the Guiding Eyes guide dog school based in New York.
