LIV Golf's new season is around the corner and as a result, the Saudi-backed league has been making several important announcements lately. Wednesday was the day of team announcements for the second season of LIV. Players for the four teams out of twelve were announced yesterday on LIV's official Twitter account.

Mito Pereira and Sebastian Munoz join LIV Golf
Mito Pereira and Sebastian Munoz were the highlights of LIV Golf's Wednesday announcement as both are the latest entrants in the LIV Golf League. Both left the PGA Tour before the beginning of the second season of the Saudi-backed series.
The second season of the Saudi-backed circuit will start with the first event being held from February 24 to February 26 at Mayakoba’s El Camaleón Golf Course on Mexico’s Riviera Maya.
Both Pereira and Munoz are in Torque GC, captained by Joaquinn Niemann. David Puig is the fourth name on the team.
Smash GC is captained by Brooks Koepka. Other names on the team include Matthew Wolff, Chase Koepka, and Jason Kokrak.
Majesticks GC is co-captained by Henrik Stenson and Ian Poulter and the team remains the same as last year, with Lee Westwood and Sam Horsfield being the other two names on the team.
4 Aces GC are the defending champions. They have added Peter Uihlein as the new replacement for Talor Gooch. Captain Dustin Johnson, Pat Perez, and Patrick Reed are the other names on the team.
