The PGA Tour now heads to the 2024 BMW Championship, the second event of the FedEx Cup Playoffs. The 50-player field event will take place at Castle Pines Golf Club in Denver, Colorado, from Thursday, August 22, to Sunday, August 25.

While Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele,, and Rory McIlroy will be headlining the BMW Championship field, there are a few sleeper picks who could potentially put up strong performances this week.

Will Zalatoris is +750 to make at least a top-five finish at Castle Pines. Last week, he secured a T12 finish in Memphis, jumping to 37th in the FedExCup standings. A good result this week could help him qualify for the Tour Championship.

Austin Eckroat is +500 for a top-10 finish at the BMW Championship. Speaking of his recent form, he finished T6 at the Wyndham Championship and T18 at the FedEx St. Jude Championship. Currently 38th in the FedEx Cup standings, he will be hoping to make it to the season finale in East Lake during his rookie season.


4) Alex Noren

Alex Noren is +125 to make a top-20 finish this week. He has been quite consistent this season, with just three missed cuts in 18 appearances. Additionally, he has three top-10 finishes, including a third-place finish at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson.

Last week, Noren tied for 30th at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, moving to 45th in the standings. A top-20 finish will ensure him a spot at the Tour Championship.
