The DP World Tour is now heading to Surrey for the 2024 BMW PGA Championship. The third event of the Rolex Series will take place from Thursday, September 19, to Sunday, September 22, at Wentworth Club, Virginia Water, Surrey, England.

The 2024 BMW PGA Championship will feature many top stars from the European Circuit as well as from the PGA Tour. However, a few big names are not in action this week.

Jon Rahm is another top name missing from the 2024 BMW PGA Championship. However, his absence is due to his joining the LIV Golf League. He has two runner-up finishes at Wentworth and finished fourth last year.

Last week Rahm won the LIV Golf Chicago as well as the season-long LIV Golf Individual Championship in his debut season on the circuit.

Tyrrell Hatton is another big European name not competing in the DP World Tour's premier event. Similar to Rahm, he is also out of the event due to his allegiance with LIV Golf.

Last year, Hatton finished as the runner-up at Wentworth. Additionally, he was the champion here in 2020.

4) Ludvig Aberg
