The second round of the JM Eagle LA Championship 2024 concluded with Grace Kim firing a low 5-under 66 to solidify her lead after 36 holes. She aggregates at 12-under, four strokes ahead of Maja Stark, who carded a 2-under 69 on Friday, April 26th.
Following the second round of the JM Eagle LA Championship 2024, the cutline was set at 2-over, and players finishing 61st and ties qualified for the weekend. While most of the top players made the cut at the Wilshire Country Club, several prominent players crashed out early.

1) Ruoning Yin
Ruoning Yin began her week with an even-par 71 but missed the cut after shooting a 4-over 75 on Day 2 at the Wilshire Country Club.
This was Yin's first missed cut of the season, and she has made just one top-ten so far.
2) Minjee Lee
Minjee Lee missed the second back-to-back cut on the LPGA Tour after missing the weekend at the Chevron Championship. She carded a 3-over 74 in the opening round and then finished with a 1-over 72.
The 27-year-old Australian has now missed three cuts in her last four starts. Her only top-10 finish this season came at the Blue Bay LPGA.
3) Georgia Hall
Georgia Hall had a horrible opening of the week at Wilshire as she posted a 6-over 77. She tried to recover on Friday with a 2-under 69 but could only aggregate at 4-over, missing the cut by two strokes.
The 28-year-old golfer has now missed two cuts this season.
4) Stacy Lewis
Stacy Lewis had similar scores to Hall and crashed out of the JM Eagle LA Championship after aggregating at 4-over. This was her fourth missed cut of the season and her second straight.
5) Cheyenne Knight
Cheyenne Knight fired a bogey-free 70 on Friday at Wilshire, but she needed more than that to advance to the final two rounds. She aggregated at 3-over after two rounds and missed the cut by one stroke.
Knight had a great start to the season with two straight top-10s, but, since then, she has missed three cuts with no other top-10 finish.
