5x PGA Tour winner reveals a matter of ‘annoyance’ at RBC Canadian Open round 1
5x PGA Tour winner Nick Taylor revealed a matter of annoyance at the RBC Canadian Open first round. He is playing in the PGA Tour event this week, and the golfer is done with his first round. Following the round, Taylor finished in T18 with a total score of 4-under.
After the round, the golfer joined a press conference, where the golfer was asked about the weather at TPC Toronto, Osprey Valley. In response, Nick Taylor shared, via ASAP Sports:
“It was more of an annoyance, I think. It was umbrella up-and-down. It wasn't one of those where it was affecting the ball like sliding off the face and all with the woods. It was fine. It was more of an annoyance. I had a jacket on, rain pants, taking it on and off.
"I felt bad for Dave because the bag was probably 60 pounds. Other than it being a nuisance, it didn't affect the play too much. It was the overnight rain that made the course really soft.”
Taylor will play the second round on Friday, and after the round, a cut system will take place.

Nick Taylor, Taylor Pendrith, and Mackenzie Hughes will tee off at 12:44 pm on hole one. Next to them, Rory McIlroy, Ludvig Åberg, and Luke Clanton will start to play at 12:55 pm on the same hole. Kevin Kisner, Eric Cole, and David Lipsky are the first group to play at 6:45 am.
