After getting 6,500,000 views in 24 hours, Bryson DeChambeau gives unexpected reason for having Donald Trump in his video
On July 23, 2024 US Open winner Bryson DeChambeau uploaded a video with former US President Donald Trump on the former's YouTube channel. In this video, DeChambeau attempted to break 50 with Trump and also spoke about various topics as they navigated the golf course.
Within 24 hours of uploading, the video received 6,500,000 views. Ahead of the next LIV Golf event in the United Kingdom, DeChambeau was asked if there was any hesitation aligning with a political figure, regardless of it being Trump or President Biden, or whoever. Speaking to media including Sportskeeda, DeChambeau answered:
"Politicians are divisive figures for sure. And I respect and understand that. And I think the content side of it, creating content was the most important thing that we were trying to accomplish there, and raising a lot of money for charity.
"Those two things combined, that's where we were focused on. That's what we were mainly focused on, trying to take the politics all out of it and just go, let's create some amazing, fun content for people to see, some cool, fun, entertaining shots."

Donald Trump revealed his favorite LIV Golf player to Bryson DeChambeau
Donald Trump's love for golf is not hidden. Apart from owning several golf courses across the world, Trump has also been spotted playing and has won several club championships. It's only natural for Trump to watch the sport and have a favorite golfer.
During his appearance on Bryson DeChambeau's YouTube channel, the 45th President of the United States of America revealed who his favorite golfer in LIV Golf was. Trump said that 33-year-old American professional golfer Patrick Reed was his favorite in the Saudi-backed tour:
"I like Patrick Reed," he said, "He just looks like a golfing machine, right? And you know, I don't know; to me, he's just solid. He's as consistent as can be, and he's tough, nasty, and a great chipper."
For those unaware, Patrick Reed is a veteran when it comes to professional golf. Before joining LIV Golf, Reed made a big name for himself on the PGA Tour. During his time on the PGA Tour, Reed won a total of nine events, including the 2018 Masters Tournament. Apart from PGA, he also won events on the European Tour.
In 2022, it was announced that Reed signed with LIV Golf and resigned from the PGA Tour. Since moving to the Saudi-backed tour two years ago, Reed has yet to register his first win.
