Anthony Kim shows his "new coach/caddie," shares heartfelt moment with daughter

At the beginning of this year, Anthony Kim made news by coming back to golf following a 12-year hiatus. He returned to professional golf by joining the Greg Norman-led LIV Golf. Later, he revealed that the driving force behind his return to professional golf was his family, especially daughter Bella.

Kim has now uploaded a video with Bella on X (formerly Twitter) where his little daughter can be seen rolling golf balls at Kim as the golfer practices his short game.

The video shared by Kim carried a caption that read:

“Finally got a new coach/caddie @livgolf_league. Nothing better 4 my #mentalhealth than spending time w BELLA ❤️❤️❤️ @excrgolf #girldad #gratitude”

In the video, Bella can be seen giving three balls to her father who puts them all in the hole. The video ends with Bella running to pick out a ball from the hole and then throwing it in the air.

Kim last played at LIV Golf Greenbrier, where he finished T36. His next outing is scheduled to be LIV Chicago, which will start on September 13 and end on September 15.

Anthony Kim reveals reason behind coming back to professional golf

Anthony Kim revealed that he had three options before him as he was deciding on a return to professional golf, one of them being the PGA Tour, and another being to not come back at all. He added that his wife pushed him to go back to playing professionally for his daughter.

“I had three options. It was to go the PGA Tour, it was to go play or come play here, or it was to not play golf. And all three had an equal shot…After a few conversations with LIV and the PGA tour, I was leaning towards not playing again," Kim said (via the Fairway to Heaven podcast).
But my wife was like, 'who's ever going to get this opportunity again? You can do something that nobody else has done, if you accomplish something big with your comeback. So do it for your daughter, show your daughter that you can put effort into something. Finish this job.' And that's why I'm doing this. I've turned down more opportunities than accepted,” he added.

Kim has played a total of ten events in LIV Golf. He started his year with LIV Jeddah, where he finished 53rd. He has had five finishes higher than 50th, including at LIV Golf Andalucia. He has finished no lower than 54th position, including 50th at LIV Golf Hong Kong in only his second outing this year.

Kim’s best finish was at Greenbrier where he finished in 36th position with a score of 6-under 204 over the three days.
