“Ask Cam Smith” - Peter Uihlein casually praises LIV Golf rival for a part of his game

Despite playing for rival team RangeGoats GC, Peter Uihlein applauded the golf skills of Ripper GC's Cameron Smith while talking about his putting skills throughout the season. Uihlein is playing at the PIF Saudi International and he joined the press conference at the Riyadh Golf Club, where he was asked to talk about his putting.

In response, he said that Smith has done the same for a long time.

“Ask Cam Smith. He's done it for a long time. It's felt good. I switched putters for one day just to try something different. Give me a new look because I didn't like how I putted in Thailand on the weekend. Went back to my putter I used for a long time. Felt good. Felt nice in Qatar, and felt solid this week. Yeah, just feeling like I'm just trusting my eyes and trusting what I'm seeing and trying to put good rolls on it," Peter Uihlein said ( via ASAP Sports).

Uihlein also described what a victory at the PIF Saudi International would mean to him.

“It would be awesome. It's a goal to try to win the International Series Order of Merit. It would be nice to accomplish that goal. I feel like I played pretty solid most of the events out here. I had a couple hiccups but for the most part been pretty solid. It would be nice to finish it off, for sure,” Uihlein said.

In the end, it was Joaquin Niemann who won the PIF Saudi International with Peter Uihlein finishing eight strokes behind in T29th place.
