Baseball Hall of Famer Larry Walker carried Taylor Montgomery's bag during the first round of the 2024 WWT (World Wide Technology) Championship. The American golfer teed off at the ongoing PGA Tour event at El Cardonal Golf Course. He was initially joined by his father, Monte, as his caddie.

Walker opened up about Diamante, the venue for the WWT Championship, saying (via Golf Week):

"I’m here half the year. I’m not here because it’s a lousy place. The food, the weather, the people. That could be in a different order every day.”

Larry Walker is a retired MLB player who played for the Montreal Expos, Colorado Rockies, and then the St. Louis Cardinals in his career. In his successful career, the Canadian former baseball player was awarded All-Star honors five times.

Walker was also awarded the NL MVP, won the Gold Glove Award seven times, and received the Silver Slugger Award three times. He retired from the sport in 2005 and was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2020.
